The sturdy and bright durries have multiple uses and this distinguished art made by the local tribes using the iron Panja(hand).

The design repertoire of bagh prints uses vegetable colours natural dyes imparting a rich, subtle and a contemporary look to the fabric.



   
MAHESHWARI WEAVING

With uncomplicated patterns, elaborate borders and no loud, Maheshwari weavings are a personification of elegant royalty.

   
JHABUA DOLL

Traditionally the dolls represent the tribal. These days representations of dolls of other cultures have begun Gujrati, Manipuri etc. in accordance to the demands in the market. The look and style of the doll has more or less remained the same.
It is a depiction of the tribal men and women of Jhabua lifestyle, daily activities and rituals of the people. It provides employment and a source of income to the tribal women of Jhabua.
Introduction of organized assembly line for increase in production. Focus on depiction of culture and lifestyle of the tribal people. Instead of using just the human element, other tribal elements like huts, local animals and birds can be made. From purely decorative dolls to different products for example functional items like toys.

   

   

BEADWORK

It is a seasonal craft and is practiced by the tribal women as a hobby. They make it when they are not harvesting their crops in the field. Since it is just carried out as a hobby there are no definite clusters but women folk work in their leisure time in their homes or in the fields preferably during the daytime practice this craft. They use these bead products for self-adornment. Source of pride during wedding and festivals because of bright colored beads represent the fervor of the youth at these gatherings.
